Who is EV Driver?

EV Driver is passionate about the environment. We care about pollution levels and we are dedicated to ensuring that we all breathe clean air. We built East Anglia’s very first EV Network back in 2017, with charge points scattered across the whole of Suffolk. Now operating as a consultancy service, we aim to give the best answers to your EV questions.

Linda, our CEO, is an entrepreneur with fifteen years of experience in EV-related business. Having built a respected and reliable network of public EV charging points which was recently merged with another CPO network. She is a pioneer in EV roaming and interoperability in the UK and Europe. Bringing networks together to make charging easy for all.

Meet the team

Linda Grave CEO EV Driver

Linda is an entrepreneur who has built successful companies within the renewable energy and EV sectors over a 15-year period able to develop non-traditional solutions to complex business challenges, focused on business growth and development within the EV sector. She built the EV Driver network of public EV charging points in the East of England, which she sold in 2020. She’s a pioneer in EV roaming and interoperability passionate about ensuring the barriers to access are lowered and customer satisfaction is paramount.

Previously Linda was co-owner of East Green Energy a renewable energy company based in the East of England, taking this from the initial start-up phase to a £2 million+ turnover within 5 years. Linda holds the Galileo Master Certificate in Electric Vehicles awarded by The European Energy Centre.Originally from a banking background. Loves cycling, running, skiing ... basically she loves clean air.

Charles O’Donoghue External Advisor

Charlie is a technical and practising consultant in the EV charging space. Since 2017 he has been involved in running public charging networks, charge point communication systems and smart technology coming to the market. His particular strength is business analysis and delivering the key points on what a business may need to enter the world of charge point operations.

Martyn Berry External Advisor

Martyn is a technical specialist providing consulting services to businesses operating in the solar PV behind-the-meter battery storage and EV charging sectors. He is an experienced technical advisor and client’s engineer working with companies to identify the best supplier and product solutions. He assists with product development and design through to certification as well as training and delivery.

Helen Herniman

Helen is an experienced finance specialist who has worked in many sectors and organisations during her career. She has been involved in the electric vehicle sector over the last 3 years and has over 30 years experience in financial modelling, business planning and appraising business opportunities.

Niall Riddell

Niall is a driven innovative energy professional with a passion for decarbonisation. Demonstrated leader in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, grid edge technologies & energy innovation. With his rich history in EV technology and energy, Niall’s knowledge and expertise are invaluable.

Alistair Clarke

Alistair is a Chartered Accountant who wanted to play a role in the transition to electric mobility, leading him to start London’s first all-electric taxi fleet. Alistair now works on the development of telematics devices and other software tools that have culminated in the in the smart charging platform. All of this gives him crucial insight and knowledge of the EV World.

Aaron Sweet

Having worked with various energy companies, Aaron is a professional with significant experience in the energy industry and capital markets across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. Based in Toronto Canada, he is a keen scuba diver and outdoors enthusiast. Aaron made the decision in 2013 to work solely for companies positively working towards lowering carbon emissions, with a particular emphasis in the energy industry.

Charlotte Dautzenberg Marketing

Charlotte is fluent in German, has a BA in English and is currently studying for her MA. She holds various awards for her professional writing and is an environmentalist passionate about clean air and a greener future for our planet.

We have a passion for EV education

The whole transport industry is changing and adapting. We aim to keep you up to speed; helping you understand more about electric vehicles and charging, and answer any questions you may have.

We just can’t stop talking about the world of EVs because we realise that educating people about this part of climate action is a substantial part of the battle. This is why we are proud to host our EV Driver Experience days, which provide an opportunity for individuals and business owners who are considering switching to an EV to come and test drive them on a private road. This activity won the business a Suffolk Greenest County award for Services to the Community, an accolade are very proud of.
